With nine different copywriting personality types the Warrior copywriter is the one that pushes boundaries the most.
You’ll either love or loathe the Warrior copywriter. They’re bold. They’re brash at times. They’re larger than life. They’re confident and they’re full of themselves at times as well. They’ll also tell it like it is. If they don’t think the client’s marketing approach or copy will work, they’ll tell them in no uncertain terms.
These copywriters are here to get results for the clients. They’re not here to fluff around or win a popularity contests but they do want your respect. They’re not afraid to go out on a limb and offer innovative creative concepts either.
Warriors are also highly inspirational and dynamic and that often shows in their writing style. If they believe in a product or a cause, they’ll champion it to the nth degree. Their courage knows no bounds. In fact, they’re not afraid of a fight so they’ll often eagerly stare conflict in the face and say “come and get me”, I’m ready.
You can often tell a Warrior copywriter by their website. It will always look big and impressive, and there will be testimonials and results mentioned everywhere.
Warriors hate vulnerability and they’re more keen on self-employment or positions of leadership as they hate being told what to do and hate being in positions that don’t offer control of their own environment.
Warrior copywriters will often start in a copywriting role but then use it as a platform to make a difference in client’s lives in other areas. They’re focused on the greater good and they’ll heroically go into bat for the underdog. They’ll often also use their copywriting talent to make a difference in other’s lives.
On a lighter note, Warriors are also very open-hearted and caring people who have enormous hearts and are passionate about saving the world. And their larger than life personalities are focused on making the world a better place.
As for their writing style, Warrior-written copy is often bold and confident and they’re not afraid of making bold statements in their writing. They’re also great at selling and have a confidence that enables them to get almost anything over the line.
Warriors are often gifted at writing direct response copy that is highly measurable as they’re not afraid to live and die by their results.
Warriors are impulsive, and quick to make a decision. They are also great leaders and can often be seen undertaking joint ventures to maximise their pay back on their copywriting work.
If you’re a Warrior personality-type you may find that ghost writing books isn’t your favourite thing to do because having someone else take the credit for your work may be an affront to your ego.
